In December of 2020 I experienced a minor medical event that resulted in an overnight stay in the ER. Even though I was sent home with a clean bill of health, my physician was obligated to report my event to the California Dept. of Motor Vehicles (DMV), who promptly suspended my driver's license. I contacted Lynn Gorelick's law office for advice on how best to get my license reinstated, and from my very first conversation with Lynn I felt confident that she and her office would be able to give me the help I needed. She immediately met with me to review my case, showed me how to request a hearing with the DMV, and explained in precise terms what the process was likely to entail as we worked together to get my license back. As soon as the DMV sent me a set of forms for my doctors to complete, Lynn and her very capable assistant, Teresa, met with me and walked me through the forms, explaining exactly what I should complete and exactly what I should ask my doctors to complete. When my doctors were vague or imprecise with some sections of the forms, Lynn advised me to return the forms to them so they could add clarity and add'l details to their information. When those tasks were complete and we had received the updated forms Lynn's office submitted the forms to the DMV and requested a date for my hearing. On the day of my hearing, because Lynn had explained to me exactly what to expect, I was relaxed and easily answered the hearing officer's questions. As the hearing ended, my license was reinstated.. I'm certain that I would never have been able to (relatively quickly) get my license reinstated without Lynn's expertise and experience. I hope to heck that I never need her services again, but if I do, I'll immediately call Lynn and Teresa. I highly recommend the law offices of Lynn Gorelick. DC
